The San Rafael Rock Quarry (SRRQ) has submitted an application to the Marin County Department of Public Works (DPW) to amend its approved Conforming Amended Reclamation Plan of 2010 (CARP10) to extend the date to complete mine reclamation activities by 20 years, from December 31, 2024 to December 31, 2044. An environmental review is underway as part of the consideration of the Quarry’s application with the County to amend its reclamation plan to allow the site to be mined through the end of 2044. We have been informed that the consultant engaged by the County for this review is preparing a Draft Addendum to the 2009 SRRQ Environmental Impact
