Currently, there are five specific areas in which the Coalition is actively involved and has established committees.  These are:

• San Rafael Rock Quarry (SRRQ) Committee: This committee is active in issues surrounding the San Rafael Rock Quarry (SRRQ), owned by The Dutra Company, and the impact of its operations on our community including noise, dust, traffic and road conditions as well as the future impact of its reclaimation plans.

• Loch Lomond Marina Oversight Committee: This committee is active in issues surrounding the planned development at the to add housing and other commercial developments on this property and its impact on the environment, traffic, recreation, and established commercial services, especially a full service grocery.

• Wetlands Committee: is involved in efforts to preserve and restore wetlands and inlets along the Point San Pedro Road corridor, many of which are in danger.

• Disaster Preparedness Committee: This committee is involved in coordinating individual and community activities and training in perparation for eventual emergencies and disasters such as fire, flood and earthquakes.

• Medians Committee: This committee is actively involved in efforts to improve and beautify the medians along Pt. San Pedro Road.
