Coalition Book Club Launches in September

Get to know the voices and behaviors of your avian neighbors and connect with the local habitats that sustain them! We’ll kick off our new book club discussing a delightful, illuminating book selected by the Coalition’s Wetlands Committee: The Birds in the Oaks. Written by local naturalist, birder, and former Marin IJ columnist Jack Gedney, the book explores birds and trees that are all around us in our backyards, neighborhoods, parks, and open spaces. Register now for a lively online discussion.

About the Coalition Book Club

This is a club with no membership and no long term commitment! Just register in advance when you wish to participate in any particular session. We will choose books with a local angle and get together periodically to talk about what we’ve read. We welcome your suggestions for books relevant to our area on issues, people, places, communities, culture, history, climate issues, nature, etc.
