On Saturday, June 27th, the Point San Pedro Road Coalition hosted a 90-minute Community Forum on Wildfire Preparedness and Firewise featuring Quinn Gardner, Deputy Director of Emergency Management, San Rafael Fire Department. For those of you who were unable to attend, a video of her presentation and the informative slides she prepared are now available below.
We live in an area that is subject to the danger of wildfire, an area bordering significant parkland. In the presentation, you can learn to prepare for an evacuation, mitigate the danger your home, and to form a Firewise community. We strongly recommend that you take a few minutes to review the material and make your safety a priority.
