Paving operations will continue as scheduled today (Friday). The final layer of asphalt (open graded, bonded wearing course) that was to be placed on Monday will now be placed on Thursday, June 30th due to a scheduling conflict with the sub-contractor. Point San Pedro Road will be open to normal traffic after today’s paving is complete. Construction will then resume next Thursday, the 30th where the detour route southbound will be put back in place for the day.
