The upcoming fourteenth annual Marin Endurance Festival (formerly known as the Marin County Triathlon and Half Marathon/5K/10K) will return on the mornings of Saturday and Sunday, October 30th and 31st from 8:30am to 12:30pm at McNears Beach Park.
Previously, the Triathlon and Half Marathon/5K/10K were held on separate weekends. This year, event days will be combined to occupy a single weekend and reduce overall impact to residents like you. We appreciate your understanding that there may be a minor detour in your neighborhood or other temporary impacts necessary to ensure the safety of participants, spectators, and residents alike.
From 8:30am until approximately 12:30pm both days, Point San Pedro Road will be closed through China Camp State Park beginning at the east entrance of Biscayne Dr. There will be no access through China Camp, but the Peacock Gap Golf Course is accessible via Riviera Dr. ALL residents will retain access to and from their homes.
Impacted roads will be well marked with detour and event signs and staffed by police and volunteers. We do not expect anyone to experience any inconvenience, though there is the possibility of minor delays of only a few minutes during the event.
This Marin Endurance Festival is a family-oriented, community event with a wonderful cause – net proceeds will again be donated to community organizations and volunteer groups. We welcome athletes from all over the world to come experience Marin and compete against our strong, local multi-sport community. And we welcome you to join us in celebrating the achievements of our athletes and sharing the natural beauty and spirit of Marin County.
Please visit our website below for further details and information on how to get involved. Thank you very much for your time and continued support.
With gratitude,
Marin Endurance Festival
