Archibald Hedrick standing atop the Hoffman Kiln Stack at McNear’s Brickyard circa 1902 shortly after its completion. Mr. Hedrick and John McNear were close friends. Mr. Hedrick moved from Oakland after his home was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake. He eventually moved to Bayside Acres in 1924 following the completion of his home at 110 Bayview Drive (see photo under 1920’s and 1950’s Bayside Acres)
