BONNIE MARMOR
Co-President
Bonnie is an attorney who resides in Bayside Acres with her family. She grew up in Santa Rosa, received her BA from UC Berkeley, and JD from Golden Gate University. After practicing law in San Francisco, she was a Marin County Deputy Public Defender from 1989 to 2017. She has been Co-President of the Pt. San Pedro Road Coalition since 2003. A former Commissioner on the Marin County Cultural Commission, she has served on Boards of local, state, and national organizations and served on San Rafael’s General Plan 2040 Steering Committee.
As Coalition Co-President, Bonnie was instrumental in negotiating for effective conditions to reduce negative impacts from San Rafael Rock Quarry operations, including the repaving of the roadway with sound mitigating asphalt. She spearheaded the creation of the Coalition’s Median, Wetlands, Disaster Preparedness, and Roadway committees and was responsible for instituting the Coalition’s Annual Community Meeting. Her passions include social justice, education, the environment, the arts—and travel.
DENISE LUCY

Denise is Professor of Business and Organizational Studies and Founding Executive Director of the Institute of Leadership at Dominican University. She holds a doctorate in Organizations and Leadership from the University of San Francisco, an M.S. from California State University, Fresno and a B.S. degree from Michigan State University. She has been Co-President of the Pt. San Pedro Road Coalition since 2003.
Denise’s career in higher education spans 40 years serving as executive, educator, and scholar beginning at the University of San Francisco and now at Dominican University. She has served in such positions as Dominican’s VP and Chief Academic Officer, Dean of Liberal and Professional Studies, Associate Dean of Students and several other director roles. She has been a resident of the Bay Area since 1984 and lives in Peacock Gap. Her community commitments are many, including board trusteeship at Marin Health, 10,000 Degrees and Dominican’s Women Leadership and Philanthropy Council.
KATI MILLER
Secretary
Kati is a retired human resources executive, with extensive experience in the financial services, power, alternative energy, packaged goods, and not-for-profit segments. Most recently she was the Vice President of Human Resources at AREVA Solar, Inc. where she led all HR functions for this multinational company. She holds a BA degree in Psychology and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. She joined the Coalition Board in 2013 and currently serves as its Secretary.
She is active in a number of civic and not-for-profit organizations in Marin. She currently serves as an Advisory Board member of the Schurig Center for Brain Recovery, and is a member of the Redwood High School Alumni Executive Council. Previously, she served as President of the Peacock Point Owners Association, a Commissioner on the Marin Women’s Commission, and as a member of City of San Rafael’s Citizen’s Advisory Board for Economic Development and Affordable Housing.
Kati grew up in Marin County and returned upon her retirement in 2012. She enjoys, food and wine, cultural pursuits, traveling and being a grandparent.
KEVIN HAGERTY
Treasurer
Kevin Hagerty, now retired, has served as Director of the San Francisco Parking Authority, Manager of Transportation Planning at the University of California, Berkeley, and Manager of the Customer Access Department at BART. He has been a Coalition Board member since 2014 and, until June of 2023, was Chairman of its Roadway Committee. He currently serves as the Coalition’s Treasurer. Kevin holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Mary’s College of California.
Kevin is a lifetime Bay Area resident, the last 35 years living in San Rafael. In June 2023, he was elected President of the League of Women Voters of Marin County and serves as the Co-Chairperson of its Transportation, Housing, and Land Use Committee. He serves as Vice Chair of the Marin Coalition and is Chairman of its Program Committee. He serves on the Independent Oversight Committees for SMART and Regional Measure 3 (Bridge Tolls). He is the Treasurer and a member of the San Rafael Federation of Neighborhoods Steering Committee. He serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Marin County Civil Grand Jury Association.
Kevin served as President of the Glenwood Neighbors and its predecessor, the Glenwood Homeowner’s Association, for over 10 years before recently stepping down and currently is serving as its Treasurer.
ALAN SCHAEVITZ

Alan is a retired computer communications consultant and has been a Coalition Board member since 2005. As an independent consultant, he has provided services to several top-100 companies. Prior to being a consultant, he was VP of Bank of America’s Global Communications Planning Department and a staff member at Bell Labs. He holds BS and Masters degrees in Mathematics from the University of Texas, Austin. He has lived in the Bay Area since 1972 and in Bayside Acres since 1991 and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Bayside Acres Homeowners Association and the Marin Coalition.
Alan is chair of the Coalition’s Marina Committee and has served in some capacity on that committee since 2002 when the marina property was first proposed for development. He serves as volunteer webmaster for the Coalition’s website as well as the Bayside Acres, Marin Coalition and Marin Chapter of the California Grand Jurors Association websites. His other interests include travel and eight grandchildren.
WINIFRED DAJANI

Winifred is a retired educator and businesswoman. After obtaining her BFA from the State University of New York (SUNY), she worked for several years in the fashion industry designing her own line of accessories for Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s and other department stores.
She left the fashion industry to raise her son and subsequently obtained a Masters in French and a Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL), both from San Francisco State University (SFSU). She taught French at Burlingame High School and English as a Second Language (ESL) through the Jewish Vocational Service (JVS) and at City College of San Francisco (CCSF). She also owned a restaurant in Pacific Heights.
Winifred grew up in Boston and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1990. She is passionate about the environment and social justice, an avid reader, and loves traveling to wine regions around the globe (she is a certified Sommelier). She’s the chair of the Wetlands Committee and lives in The Strand at Loch Lomond Marina, where she was the Chair of the HOA Finance Committee for four years.

Robert is an attorney in the cryptocurrency industry. He received his BA in Politics and Economics from Occidental College, and his JD from the University of Chicago Law School. Robert began his career as a Deputy Attorney General in the Civil Division of the California Department of Justice, before serving as a judicial law clerk to Chief Judge Richard Seeborg and Judge William H. Orrick in San Francisco. He formerly was an associate at the international law firm, Morrison & Foerster, where he represented Fortune 100 and leading technology companies in complex commercial and class action litigation.
Robert is the Chair of the Coalition’s Roadway Committee. He also serves on the City of San Rafael Park and Recreation Commission and the Public Art Review Board. Robert and his wife Linda moved to the Bay Area in 2016 before starting their family in Peacock Gap in 2020. Robert enjoys being active in the community, walking in Marin’s beautiful open spaces with his family, and the occasional relaxing afternoon hitting golf balls at the range.
JOHN LENSER
Chair: Disaster Prep Committee
John Lenser has resided in San Pedro Cove for over 30 years, being active in establishing the Point San Pedro Road median maintenance program and serving as an officer of St. Luke Presbyterian Church. Beginning in 1994, he founded and was CEO of multiple national direct marketing agencies based in San Rafael; prior to 1994, he was the CEO of specialty retailing companies including The San Francisco Music Box Company that he founded in 1978, Gumps, Hearthsong, and David Kay catalogs.
He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Criminology from U.C. Berkeley, having a first career as a probation officer, criminal justice specialist with the State of California, and Director of the Alameda Criminal Justice Planning Board.
