On Saturday, April 19th the Point San Pedro Road Coalition hosted a Community Wide Forum on Wildfire Preparedness and Home Insurance. Quinn Gardner and her team from the San Rafael Fire Department addressed what the City/County is doing to mitigate wildfire danger, what individuals can do to reduce fire danger to their homes, and how to respond to in the event of a wildfire. Durriya Syed from the California Department of Insurance addressed homeowner’s insurance concerns. Unfortunately, the video of her presentation was damaged after about 10 minutes and is unavailable after that point.
