Please join us for a two-hour Community Forum on Wildfire Preparedness and Firewise will be held on Saturday, June 27th, at 10:00 AM at San Pedro Elementary School. The forum, hosted by the Point San Pedro Road Coalition, will feature speakers from the San Rafael Fire Department and the Firewise program.
We live in an area that is highly vulnerable to wildfire bordering extensive parkland. We also have only one road out that makes evacuation challenging. At the forum, you will learn what the City and County are doing to mitigate this fire danger, steps you can take to make your home less fire prone, and how to prepare for an evacuation. You are encouraged to learn more about the national Firewise program that not only improves your community’s safety but offers homeowners significant discounts on their homeowner’s insurance.
