Changes in Board and Committee

Alan Schaevitz, with over two decades of service as a Pt. San Pedro Road Coalition Boardmember, is moving out of our community (to Greenbrae) and has resigned from the Board as a result. However, he has volunteered to continue to provide technical support for our website, email list, webinars, and other technical needs. The Board has voted to create a new standing committee, the Communications Committee, to provide those services and appointed Alan as Chair. Others will be recruited to the committee to provide assistance in this area.

Alan also served as Chair of our Loch Lomond Marina Committee. The Committee was established in the very early 2000’s to provide community input to the planning and design for the Village at Loch Lomond Marina and then to monitor the ongoing construction to ensure adherence to the permit restrictions and plans. The construction was substantially completed in 2024, ending the need for this Committee.  At our May Board meeting, we voted to dissolve that committee.  Information on the current status of The Village at Loch Lomond Marina and any issues or concerns that might remain is being retained on the website for historical and reference purposes.

We are very grateful that we will continue to benefit from Alan’s expertise and dedication as Chair of the Communications Committee.
