The Breakwater Access Trail (BAT) that connects the end of Loch Lomond Drive/parking to the breakwater surrounding the Loch Lomond Marina is open to the public as of today, Friday, March 31, 2023. Great work was done by MVA and Ghilotti in spite of the heavy rain storms causing problems and delays, and the result is beautiful. It is a glorious walk to enjoy the birds, bay air and outdoors.
In addition, the kayak launch ramp at the Loch Lomond Drive end of the BAT is open for public use as well. The kayak dock next to the boat ramp has been open for public use for quite some time.
