This is an update on the construction schedule for the breakwater connector and the playground jetty:
The fencing work is starting Monday morning 6/13/22 at the Breakwater Access Trail (BAT), but full closure is still about a week away. MVA doesn’t want to shut things down until they have all the materials, so that it remains open as long as possible.
The special sheet piling for around the playground jetty is still delayed, so the jetty may remain open a few weeks longer than the BAT. Again just like the BAT, MVA doesn’t want to shut things completely down until they have the materials or know all the materials are arriving.
