The San Rafael Rock Quarry has notified us that the quarry is assisting in an emergency response that will require additional trucking throughout the holiday weekend. The hours and days of operations limitations as specified in the quarry’s operating permit, as well as truck trip per day limitation and trucking hours, may be suspended when there is a public emergency.
The Quarry advised us as follows:  they will be assisting Ghilotti Construction by providing the rip rap materials needed to fill the breach in the levee at Digital Drive in Bel Marin Keys, Novato. This job is under emergency contract with the California State Coastal Conservancy. Trucking of the materials will be needed Friday 2/15 until 9pm, Saturday 2/16 and Sunday 2/17 from 7am to 9pm.
