The Point San Pedro Road Coalition’s Roadway Committee has been working with Marin Transit to explore options for providing some form of public transportation to serve the East San Rafael Peninsula residents, employers and employees.
As a first step in this process, the Coalition earlier this year co-sponsored with Marin Transit an on- line survey to assess demand for public transportation to serve the East San Rafael area. Marin Transit received over 400 survey responses.
On Tuesday, January 10 2017, the Coalition will co-sponsor with Marin Transit a community meeting to:
- Review the results of the East San Rafael public transportation assessment survey
- Review the area demographics
- Present some public transportation options to serve the East San Rafael area
- Solicit comments and receive feedback on those options and other ideas that residents, employers and employees may have to address our area transportation needs
The meeting will be held in the multi-purpose room at San Pedro School beginning a 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2017.
