On August 15, Marin County Transit District staff presented an informational item to the their Board regarding the results of the East San Rafael Transit survey that was co-sponsored by the Coalition and Marin Transit earlier this year. A copy of the Board staff report and the Power Point presentation is attached here and explores the potential for some type of transit service in east San Rafael.
There will need to be meetings with the community to better explore the types of service, how that service would operate, the span of service ( all day, weekday vs weekend, peak only, on-demand. etc ). The Coalition is intending to schedule such public meetings in coordination with Marin Transit in the future.
