On Monday, April 27, the County of Marin Public Works Department will begin repairs to realign a section of North San Pedro Road just to the west of Buckeye Point. The target completion date is May 15. A 0.6-mile section of road will be fully closed to all vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians every Monday morning through Friday evening. The road will reopen to one-lane of alternating traffic each Friday at approximately 5:30 p.m., closing again on Mondays at 7 a.m., when construction resumes.
Updates regarding the work and/or any date changes will be posted on the Friends of China Camp website. Please be aware that the Buckeye Point picnic area is also closed through May 22nd. For questions about the road work, please contact Marin County Administrative Services.
