Birds are migrating north along the Pacific Flyway until May, so it is a wonderful opportunity to view them in transit as they make their way home.
Bird expert Rich Cimino will lead a tour at McNears Beach Park and share fascinating information and insights about the different birds that we view there.

Birding in Tuolumne Meadows, Yosemite National Park, Rich has more than 50 years of birding experience in Northern California. For the past 25 years he has led bird tours in North American, Central American, and Europe through his company Yellow Billed Tours .
He also has years of experience as a volunteer organizing Audubon birding tours throughout California. Rich is inspired by the joy of birding and the fun it brings, while appreciating nature for the value it adds to our lives.
Rich and his partner Janet Brodie have been surveyors of the Great Blue Heron rookery along the Point San Pedro Wetlands. He is also a member of the Wetlands Committee of the Point San Pedro Road Coalition.
