At some point in the past couple of days, the contractor at the Loch Lomond Marina project moved the roadway behind Andy’s Market so that it bordered the wetlands at the Bay end of that roadway. This was to accommodate removing the old roadway leading to the Marina parking at the east end and inserting the wicking (and moving the power poles).
Unfortunately, while doing this work, the barrier protecting the wetlands was partially breached at the Bay end just before entering the parking area and the protective straw rolls were also removed. In a conversation with the property owner’s representative today (Tuesday), he stated that this breach will be repaired and restored by end-of-day tomorrow (Wednesday).
