Disaster can strike at any time.  Are you ready?

1 Hour 2 Get Ready
March 7 at 10 AM at St. Luke Church

This “1 Hour 2 Get Ready” class focuses on easy things you can do at home and with your family to be more prepared for an emergency or large-scale disaster. The class will also help you prepare for an extended power outage in the event of a PG&E Public Safety Power Shutdown (PSPS). Quinn Gardner, the City of San Rafael Disaster Response Coordinator, will lead this class.

Please RSVP by registering for this class to help assure enough handouts and seats are available, but there is no need to print your ticket.

The Coalition will also hold acommunity wide meeting on May 2nd at 10 AM at St. Luke Presbyterian Church that will focus on disaster preparedness, particularly the role that all of our HOA’s can play and how they can organize for the effort.  This is a follow up to our October, 2019 training meeting for HOA and Disaster Prep leaders.  Again, Quinn Gardner, Manager of San Rafael’s Office of Emergency Services, will lead the discussion.  This meeting will give all of the HOA’s the opportunity to report progress that they have made over the past six months.

If you have any questions, or if you have interest in joining one of our work groups (development community resources, evacuation/supply prepositioning, medical response, or utilities), please email our Disaster Preparedness Committee Chair, John Lenser at John@Lenser.com
