While the next meeting of the principals involved in this development is not until May 15, an updated regarding the east jetty/playground has been received.
The update states that all the major construction is complete as well as the tidal and open-air plantings. There are some final plantings to be completed and the Landscape Architect’s final recommendations sent to the S.R. DPW for approval. If there is a quick approval turn-around from S.R., the playground should be open to the public very soon, possible as early as the end of April (no promises!).
