Loch Lomond Marina Update

  • Temporary power polls have been placed. The poles will also support temporary lighting for the Marina Boardwalk. Pole and lighting will remain in place until approximately August when the new underground power will be operational and the new bollard lighting for the Boardwalk will be in place.
  • PG&E is going to cut off the main gas line next week. Potholes are currently being dug to expose the pipeline. Shortly thereafter (beginning of May), the utility and infrastructure construction will start.
  • The dry cleaners are in the process of moving temporarily into the space previously occupied by the dentist (who is moving into the space vacated by the orthodontist).
  • Shortly after the building abutting Andy’s Market is vacated, it will be demolished and remediation of the dry cleaners area will begin. Once that is done, surcharge dirt will be placed on that area which is on the Bay side of Andy’s Market.
  • The current expectation is that the utility work that will extend into Pt. San Pedro Road will be done in mid-May with the repaving project reaching that point at the end of May. Everyone’s fingers are crossed.
  • House construction expected to start at the end of the year.
  • Andy’s market construction expected to start in early to mid 2015.
