The May-June 2019 issue of the Marin Conservation League Newsletter includes an excellent and comprehensive report titled “Who’s Minding the San Rafael Rock Quarry”.  The author is Kate Powers who serves on MCL’s Board (and is a past president).  She interview Bonnie Marmor, the Coalition co-Chair, and she consulted and collaborated with a number of other people that are knowledgeable about the quarry. It is an excellent article that covers the history, both past and present, of the quarry and the current issues surrounding it.
