Bayside Park will be open for use by 5pm on Friday, 9/17. All elements of the park are available for visitor use, including an ADA accessible parking space. Turf areas are currently covered with engineered bark until the drought ends. The timeline for turf installation is unknown; Â it will be installed once Marin County Parks determines that adequate water is available for turf. Â Please enjoy Bayside Park!

Coalition Note: The curbside parking, including the ADA-accessible parking space mentioned, will only exist until the park officially opens. That time will arrive after the drought is over and the Parks & Rec Department is allowed to replace the bark with lawn. At that time, the plan remains to remove the curbside parking in favor of a bicycle-only lane. The Coalition continues to work with all involved parties to identify a solution to this issue that is acceptable to the community while adhering to all State and County regulations.
