After his fascinating presentation on the Vaux’s Swift Migration to McNear’s Brickyard, Rich Cimino returned with another fact-filled webinar. This webinar presentation on December 1, 2020 focused on local wintering shorebirds from small sandpipers to long-legged waders and ducks. The photos are Rich’s personal ones taken in the San Pedro – Loch Lomond marina wetlands.

Residents of our area, and bird watchers everywhere, are fascinated by the annual migration of Vaux’s Swifts to McNear’s Brickyard.  Our Wetlands Committee invited Rich Cimino of Marin Audubon to speak to us about this unique phenomenon.
