Activity: We will be removing fire-prone plants to keep the neighboring communities safe! Since we are experiencing a drought, we expect these plants will quickly dry out, becoming potential fuel for a wildfire.
Where: Shoreline Trail from Biscayne Drive to the China Camp boundary. Parking is available on Biscayne Dr. near Pt. San Pedro Road. See this map for some useful guide as to where we will meet.
Attire: Long pants, long sleeves, sturdy closed-toe shoes, long sleeve shirt, and a hat. These suggestions are to protect volunteers from poison oak, ticks, and scratches.
Additional items: Gardening/work gloves, sun screen, face mask, and a reusable water bottle.
Waiver Required: Volunteers will be required to sign the attached waiver. Please print out, read, and sign this waiver and release of liability form and bring it with you to the event.
